The Oxford Institute of Legal Practice (OXILP) was established jointly by the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University in 1993 to specialise in the delivery of the Legal Practice Course (LPC).
OXILP brings together the traditions of the world's oldest* university and the dynamism of what the league tables regularly call "the best new university in Britain". Since its establishment, OXILP has gained a reputation as one of the country's foremost providers of the LPC.
Following the success of its LPC, OXILP has more recently become one of only five QLTT providers in the country, enabling overseas lawyers and barristers to qualify as solicitors in England and Wales.
OXILP also prides itself on its continuing professional development expertise, and has developed a series of CPD courses covering all areas of practice.
